Yep. Pepsi rolled back DEI. But Coke contributed millions to influence the election. Soda is crap, and bad for us anyway. Away with these two, among others…

True. I know this. I'm boycotting them period. I use an app which gives me info on the political leanings of most major companies and brands.

I am supporting Canada in Mexico in every way I can. I paid one dollar more for tomatoes because they came from Mexico rather than buy them from the US. And it doesn’t bother me at all.

REI have a page on their website about everything they are doing to “promote the great outdoors and the greater good”. There is a link at the bottom of the page where they ask “ How are we doing?” and ask you to give them feedback.

Here’s the page

Thank you for this. As a longtime REI member, I’m disgusted with them now. Their union-busting activities combined with support for Doug Burgum are beyond horrible for an outdoors company.

Gap is a big supporter of DEI, and no one is mentioning it. The main page on the website is filled with many different faces. It's beautiful!! Old Navy is also part of their brand.

Yes it's hard America but it's worth it. Every country can support you by boycotting these global brands as well. I have stopped supporting them and I encourage others to do the same. What's happening now is not just a USA issue but a global one. We stand with you and continue to pray that sanity will prevail and you can rescue your democracy. Keep the pressure up!

I am very happy to boycott. It feels like a real tangible way to have control in what feels like a freefall. I can only do so when I am made aware of an issue so I rely on reporting on this platform. I do hope a significant amount of others are also of this mindset. It is only effective of the masses participate.

I’m boycotting what used to be my favorite music festival, FloydFest in Virginia, for honoring a sponsor who gives donates a lot more money to right wing causes including RNC, Trump, Giuliani, Mark Robinson, and Virginia Fox. The donor is the festival’s official winery this year. Bitter grapes.

I just looked at their site and it looks pretty good. Although the new Sec of the Interior is a “drill baby drill” pig and they should not have supported him in any way. They also seem to have a different phrase for any DEI actions they may be taking… suspect.

my two cents? i’d be wary of giving the Stamp of Approval to an outfit like Apple based on their reactions in a limited domain. regardless, they’ll remain one Evil Ass Company that cares only about extracting the next trillion dollars from its cult.

The REI support of Doug Burgum is deeply disappointing. I just sent them a letter reminding them that REI members have always been more than customers; they have been partners in championing outdoor recreation, preservation of wild lands, and environmental education, and that they are squandering their legacy along with the goodwill that has been built up over generations. Sad. Another company bends the knee. I guess integrity can't find a foothold when money and fealty reigns and Trump is on the throne.

Even started making my own socks, hats, scarves and things like that. Can't wait for summer and my new. Bigger Garden always had one now it will be enough for winter storage.
