Hey friends,
Thank you so much for taking this journey with me here at Traveling Money.
I’ve been writing this newsletter for two years now, and it’s time for a change.
When I began this project, it was a way to have creative freedom, and I loved showing up every week for myself and my community.
I wrote exclusively on Medium back then, and the platform was heavily guarded. Getting my work published was challenging, and I had to comb through submission guidelines that felt endless. Rejections were abundant.
It’s different now.
My writing has evolved, and so has Medium.
The soul of Traveling Money will live on in a publication on Medium called
License to Chill. It will have the same goal -
Explore how people take breaks and celebrate life worldwide. Now I can open it to other writers, highlight their work, take an editing role, and create a community there.
I will post there once a week, just like I did here.
You can follow the publication here ⬇️
This newsletter will be re-worked and will come back with a different agenda. It will be a backstage pass to my work as a freelance writer. It will be free.
I don’t have a name, logo, or publishing schedule yet. But you’ll be the first to know.
If you’re not interested in a backstage pass to my work, no worries; unsubscribe anytime. We’re still friends.
If you’ve been a paying member of Traveling Money, thank you so much for supporting my work. You are the stars in my night sky.
You will not be charged again; if you have a remaining balance, it will be refunded.
This newsletter has taught me so many lessons. The biggest ones are these two:
It taught me to show up for myself, no matter what.
It taught me to create my own lane for my writing when other people weren’t interested in giving me a chance.
I write a weekly newsletter on LinkedIn, Leadership Field Guide. It’s published on Tuesdays. You can follow that here. ⬇️
Again, thank you so much for being here. It was such a blast creating this publication and sending it every week.
I’ll see you soon.
Remember to put your feet up, pet your pets, and pour yourself your favorite drink.
Peace,
Kit
I'm excited about License To Chill, and to (eventually) get a backstage look at what freelancing is like for you!
So glad you are changing and moving into new and interesting spaces!!! Looking forward to reading all that will be created there!
