Hey friends,
Today is Global Beatles Day.
Really?
Yep! I know; I had no idea.
I wanted to shine a light on this global holiday because The Beatles were a band that had international success and promoted peace around the world, which is pretty rad.
“Many people don’t realize the impact the Beatles had on society. The song Revolution was written in response to what they saw as growing social injustices such as war, racism, and poverty. When it was released in 1968, many people took to the streets in protest.” - Brilliantio.com
Peaceful protest is still how the collective public can assemble and have their voices heard. We still see it today, and it’s a freedom I don’t take lightly.
Raise your voices, all. Bring peace. ✌🏻
I had a phase in my youth where I listened to all The Beatles albums. One of my favorite songs by the group is still Tax Man. I love the beat, love the lyrics. Brilliant. Just like they were.
A massive shoutout to all of you today. Throw on your favorite Beatles album and chill out - or dance - even better.
I’m keeping it short today because I have a dog to walk and places to be.
Pour your favorite drink, pet your pets, and I’ll see you next week.
Peace,
Kit

Yesterday, the streets here were full & in full voice. I hope that keeps up.
A wonderful reminder of a great call to peace from the past!
