Hey People,
Today I took a Zoom call with someone I don’t know just because she invited me. Weird? No. She is a student interested in retail, and she wanted to connect and ask me for advice.
This may sound totally terrible to some of you. Still, I consider myself an anti-social extrovert, so I said yes. She took a risk and asked me. What’s the worst that could’ve happened? I said no? Well, I said yes!
She said people must ask me to meet up all the time; well, they don’t. Which means the ones that do will be rewarded. Ha! That feels very silly to say, but it’s true. She was delightful, by the way. She was prepared, provided a Zoom link, and when we had technical difficulties, she switched directions and made it work.
Let’s just say she’s gonna do okay in life.
What if everyone just went for it? Who cares what anyone else thinks? Try it, ask someone, put yourself out there. How extraordinary our lives would be if we could take a risk and bet on ourselves. Fantastic!

I had an article get picked up by a Medium publication this week, which just means that it gets thrown in front of a larger audience. Sweet! I’m always surprised when I get selected. Not because I don’t believe in my writing abilities, but because you never can tell what will resonate. If it does, cool - LFG!
Here’s the article.

Are you ready for your March playlist and Snack Fest?
Cue the confetti!
Alright - The playlist turned out very bluesy. I never know what will come together, and it turns out that the blues and rock n’ roll are what I was in the mood for.
I thought I’d share this recipe that we have made twice this past month to accompany the playlist. It’s for hummus made from scratch, and it is one of the best things we’ve ever made at home.
