Hey people!
This week has got me thinking about resilience - a lot. Omicron is still raging, I have friends pulling their kids out of school, and stores everywhere are short-staffed like you wouldn’t believe.
What makes us get up every morning? What drives us to be there for our friends and family?
Resilience.
Resilience is necessary if you want to achieve anything.
If you don’t - if you’re okay reading celebrity gossip every day, scrolling through social media, and complaining about other people - be my guest, but honestly, that shit gets old.
Do something for someone else that gets you nothing.
Start there.
Every time I think about getting back at someone that did me wrong, I realize that I’m too busy doing kick-ass stuff to bother. It’s draining to be around that energy.
Where was I? Ah, yes, resilience.
My close friends have this on lock. When the world goes sideways, they pick up their dice and figure out a new way to roll ‘em.
Don’t sit and wallow. Get up and design a new game. (Okay, you can wallow for 24 hours. That is all.) Move out!
That’s all we can do. Our lives and plans have gone sideways of late, upside down, in fact. It’s hard, but it will be okay. Life is tough, but so are you.

All the best to all of you! Until next time.
