Remember when I said this newsletter would turn into something else entirely?
That time is now.
The Voice of the Frontline
The Voice of the Frontline is for anyone that works in customer service. You are the invisible workforce. You know more about your customers than anyone else but your bosses don’t stop to listen to you.
They’ve got their noses stuck in audits and rarely take the time to talk to you like a human.
I get it.
For twenty years, I led teams in retail buildings. Now, I advocate for retail leaders daily on LinkedIn. I also host a newsletter there, but I wanted to do more.
Let me be clear, I wanted to say more without looking over my shoulder.
Unfiltered
LinkedIn kicks ass. I’m a fan. I’ve met the coolest people there. I also can’t help but feel like my boss is standing over my shoulder.
And I don’t even have a boss.
I wanted to create a place where frontline workers can come in and chat but not feel like their boss is behind them. Voice of the Frontline is that place.
Everyone is Welcome Here
This community is open to all.
If you are disrespectful, hateful, or full of rage, you will be kicked out. This isn’t the place and that block button does not scare me.
Be kind and respectful to all living things.
What to Expect
You’ll get two emails a month. Each email will include:
My big mouth opinions on retail, leadership, and the frontline.
Answers to all the questions I get in my DMs (anonymously, of course).
An actionable takeaway that you can use today.
Let’s Go
Autofill that email of yours and sign up.
We’re building the Voice of the Frontline.
But we may have to burn it all down first.
Wait, where is my email about relaxing?
If you signed up for Traveling Money, and are now confused. I got you.
Traveling Money still exists, just in a new space.
It’s on Medium by the new name of License to Chill.
If you have zero interest in the frontline workforce, customer service, or my advice on such matters, please unsubscribe. You will not hurt my feelings one bit. We are totally still friends.
If you’re coming along for this new adventure, I’ll see you real soon.
If you know anyone else that would be interested in The Voice of the Frontline, please forward this email.
You’re the best.
Fabulous! Your new direction is spot on and so needed!!!
