Hey friends,

There are many people in my life with birthdays in July. 

Here in the US, we celebrate birthdays every year. It’s quite a big deal in most cases. Dinner, cake, decorations, and a toast to the birthday person are standard. So are gifts. 

This isn’t the case globally, however. 

I was curious - how do people around the world celebrate the passing of another year? Does everyone celebrate another trip around the sun?
