I worked retail for 20 years, so, I know some people don’t like it.
However, the skills learned in retail transfer everywhere. Even if retail is “all you know”, then you know a shit ton & you can take those skills into another industry.
I have never worked retail, but I admire anyone who can make a career of it! It is one tough gig. I could never do it.

I don’t think everyone that works retail does it because they love the rush. Some simply can’t get any other job because it’s all they know.
